I’m passionate about capturing the moments that matter most. The fleeting glances, the quiet whispers, the loving smiles when you think they’re not looking, let’s tell your story, together.

I am here with you for all the moments, in the beginning, end, and everything in between

I got my start in photography and videography early in life. I started out at 8 years old with a Hannah Montana camcorder filming little home videos of my family and eventually went to Film School at 18. As a South Asian, I come from a big family and was always going to weddings or events. I fell in love watching all the photographers and videographers capturing people’s special moments there and that’s when the idea for Janki Desai Films started.

After upgrading from the little camcorder to a real camera, I began experimenting with film photography and videography. I love making all my sessions as comfortable as possible by cracking bad jokes and throwing out sarcastic comments. Don’t know how to pose? I got you. When I’m not capturing events, I can be found traveling to different cities with a camera in my hand or binge watching the next, new TV show.
